Visco-elastic Memory Foam vs. Latex Foam

There are other alternatives in regards to foam. One of the more popular of the alternative foams is latex foam. Latex foam is much more resilient and more elastic. The result of this elasticity and resilience is a much more ‘springy’ effect and more firmness in your mattress. The difference between latex foam and memory foam is that memory foam does not push back. Memory foam material conforms to your body and cradles your every posture. With some forms of latex, many individuals have developed allergies. However, research has shown that the allergic effects of latex foam is greatly reduced when using all natural latex materials using such processes as the Talalay process for developing latex foam which washes away most of the proteins which can cause allergic reactions to latex. In regards to the all-natural latex foam mattresses, there are no chemicals used in the process which provide proper densities of the mattress and therefore is more expensive than memory foam as the process is much more expensive and involving.
